FTC Delays Red Flag Rules Again

The Federal Trade Commission announced on Friday, October 30, 2009 that the Red Flags rule with regard to the mandatory implementation of Identity Theft programs is delayed again until June 1, 2010.

The AMA has been urging the FTC and Congress that physicians are not "creditors" and should not be subject to the rule.
