AAO Offers Registry Function to Report PQRI Measure Codes

The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AA) has an alternative way for your practice to submit your PQRI claims.

Physicians may choose to report their quality measures through a qualified registry instead of the claims based methodology that many Ophthalmologists presently use.

This can be achieved by signing up for the new Academy-sponsored Ophthalmic Patient Outcome Database. This registry is run by Outcome Sciences, Inc., a vendor with extensive experience with data registries and with medical societies, and allows full, seamless integration with the CMS qualified Outcome PQRI Registry.

To learn more about the PQRI registry program and to sign-up for the PQRI registry webinar through the Outcome PQRI Registry visit: http://outcome.com/pqri.htm.

The dates/times for the weekly webinar are updated monthly.

For extra help in getting started, contact Outcome Sciences by phone, 617.715.6898, or e-mail, ophthalmicdatabase@outcome.com.

General questions on this initiative can be directed to the following e-mail address at the AAO.
